I finally had the dead Live Oak tree cut down in the backyard. It really opens it up. I'm hoping the neighbor's trees will provide a little shade but either way it definitely looks better. We had it cut down in small sections so we could use it for firewood this winter. It was a mess. After all the branches were cut the man just left. Clif and Bennett had lots of work to do and Bennett couldn't have been more excited! Each evening after work he would put on his gloves just like dad and rack up limbs and load wood into the wheelbarrow. I think he was upset when it was all cleaned up. Now, if he was just old enought to mow and edge the lawn!
