I hope that everyone had an enjoyable Easter. We had a wonderful time in Natchez visiting family and friends. As you can see from the pictures below Parker and Bennett had a wondeful time too.

Bennett playing with Crosby II. Everytime you would move him away he would roll back over to him and play. Crosby II wasn't so sure what to think of him.

We went to Duncan Park and played on the slides and swings. Parker is acting shy in the picture but we all know that she is definitely not that.
Bennett loved the swing!
Bennett enjoyed watching Parker play.
Below is a picture ofParker hunting for Easter eggs. She would pick them up and shake them and if they didn't have anything in them she would put them back. When you ask her what the Easter Bunny brought her she says marshmallows and dum dum (suckers).

Everybody keeps saying that my children look like Clif. I beg to differ :) See the pictures below and tell me what you think.

I usually only post pictures and a few videos so here is a written update on the children. First of all they are great! Parker is so much fun and talking more and more everyday. I am going to try and get some video one night as she carries on a conversation by herself when she is supposed to be asleep. Her favorite movie is Dumbo. Every night after bath time she wants to watch it so we set a timer for 20 minutes or so and let her watch it. You can hear her giggling in the other room when the mouse and Dumbo accidentally drink champagne and he is blowing bubble out of his trunk. I don't remember Dumbo getting drunk but he does. The other night I put the timer down by the little TV and she picked it up and said "I don't want that mom". That's right, she is calling us mom and dad. It is too funny!

The weekend of the time change we said "bye bye pacifier". She was only using it at nap times and at night or on long car trips but then she starting wanting all the time and would crawl into Bennett's bed to get one....even when he was in it! So we have this book called "Bye bye pacifier" when the little boy gives his pacifier to his mommy to mail to the babies who need one and then he is a big boy. So that is just what we did. I got a little box and Parker put 4 pacifiers in it. We taped it put a stamp on it and put it is the mailbox to mail to a baby in Texas that needed it (a friend of ours just had a baby and she came to mind during this process...Aker's - you need to send me a picture of Addison so that I can show Parker who has her pacifier...that is if she uses one!) I told her that the mail lady would come pick it up and mail it off. That afternoon, she never napped and we even went walking around for the mail lady. I'm sure glad that we didn't run into her! Ever since she hasn't really asked for it but she doesn't want to go to sleep. I guess she can't turn off but each day is getting easier. If you ask her where her pacifier is she will say that a baby in Texas has it and that she is a big girl. I hope this sticks!

Bennett is just happy. He is easy to put to bed and wakes up babbling and talking. He loves to be on his stomach too. He sleeps with his rear end straight up in the air...it is too cute. If you roll him on his back he will very quickly roll back over on his stomach. He LOVES Parker! He just watches her and when she is around he will do whatever it takes (squirm, wiggle and roll) to get closer to her. He is sitting very good and just plays with his bucket of toys or in his jumperoo or exersaucer. He can't put himself in a sitted position but I don't think it will be long and then he will soon be off moving about. He will get on all fours now and rock back and forth so it is just a matter of time before we will be chasing him in and out of rooms.

Clif and I are good. We look forward to the warmer weather so that we can spend more time out in the backyard playing and swimming. We are all headed to Natchez for Easter with Coco & Papa and Crosby, Lauren and Crosby II will be there. We look forward to spending time with them. I hope everyone has a Happy Easter!
Two weekends ago it rained all day on Friday so on Saturday morning after breakfast Parker and YaYa put on their rain boots and walked a mile hitting every muddle puddle that could find. By the time Parker got home her boots were filled with water but she didn't care!

Here is a recent video of Parker singing. Take notice that she doesn't stop moving!

This is a little old but I never got the chance to post it. It is a video of Bennett rolling over. He loves to be on his stomach and rolls around everywhere. He is not getting to a sitting position on his own yet but I don't think it will be long. Then we don't have long before he starts crawling or maybe we do...hopefully!

We love our bathtime! Bennett loves the water just as much as Parker does. I can't wait to swim in the pool this summer with both of them.

Bennett loves to watch his big sister especially when she is acting silly

Parker likes having someone to play with during bathtime!
Just having a good time hanging around. Parker likes that Bennett is smiling and interacting more with her. I'm not sure that she is going to like it once he starts crawling and playing with her toys but hopefully we have a few more months of stationary playing.

Bennett and Dad! I love my new sweater!
Thanks Aunt Beth and Uncle Brian!

We all had a great day today! The weather was beautiful and we all played outside. Once inside, Bennett and I played peek-a-boo. He loved it! He played so hard today that he was just pooped....

And he fell asleep while playing in his jumperoo!

While Parker was in Atlanta with YaYa and her cousin Marion she discover green tea and had some every morning. She normally doesn't like anything that is above room temperature but as you can see below she likes tea!

One night they made homemade pizza for dinner.

Parker watching all the sea creatures.
Just a cool picture of Parker and the jelly fish.
Last night we had a gathering at the house for Marion's 25th Birthday. Marion is Clif's 1st cousin from Winona, MS and now lives in FL. The weather was fantastic and we sat outside around an outdoor fireplace and of course had some margartias from out wonderful Margaritaville margarita machine.

Bennett and his very pretty cousins Marion and Emily! He will love this photo when he gets older.
Be prepard to see pictures of the Happiest Baby Every! All Bennett does is smile! It is so much fun to be around him. He is starting to sit up for long periods and he loves to watch his sister run circles around him. He is also getting two teeth! Parker was nearly one when she got hers. I hope this doesn't mean he is growing up too fast.

Bennett did great at his six month check up. He weighs in at 16 lbs 11 oz and 25 1/4 inch tall! He is eating peas, applesauce, pears, squash and next week we are starting carrots.

Playing in my swing!
Which toy do I like best?
We're off to nursery school!
