Our Thanksgiving Tree
Mom had this great idea to do a Thanksgiving Tree and she cut out leaves on fall colored paper and hung them on a branch. So I borrowed the idea! Love it!

This past weekend Sarah and I and the children headed up to Centralia for the weekend. We had one pretty day and the kids played outside and ran around. Of course, Bennett did some work with Poppa Jack and even drove the backhoe! (sorry I don't have a picture of it but he was smiling from ear to ear). Below Langley and Josie are enjoying a cookie. They had a great time playing together.
Parker didn't really want to share the rope swing with Bennett as you can probably tell.

I can't believe it has taken me this long to post Parker 6th birthday party pictures. It was a SURPRISE party and I was actually able to pull it off. Even the kids at school didn't say anything. There were a bunch of other parties planned around the time so we were able to divert everyone's attention to a different party if anyone mentioned hers. It was at the park and we had a Unicorn pinata and Pin the Tail on the Donkey -- direct request from the birthday girl. Everyone had a wonderful time! Just click on the photo above to be taken to the entire album.

Not quite sure what it is but Parker always tends to create her best artwork while at Mass or Sunday School. I guess she feels inspired! Our Sunday school classes now meet on Wednesday night and on the back of her Ten Commandments work paper from last night she drew her self portrait of how she would look when she grew up. I think it is quite impressive but of course I am biased being her mother and all. The other children really liked it as well and asked her to draw theirs too. She told the others that she knew how she was going to look because the doctor told her mother the day she was born. I hope you enjoy it too!
She has a few more that she drew from this summer while in Centralia that I'm going to post next.
