More fun random photos.
Go DAWGS!
This picture is from back in February at the Natchez airport. We took Shannon & Sarah to their plane on our way out of town and watched them take off. While waiting the girls picked flowers.
Sisters
Lulu all dressed up with no where to go
In Centralia at Easter Langley kept herself busy by tracing her feet. It was pretty funny because she did it over and over.
Bennett ramping. I have another video of him crashing but I won't show it. This one is better!
For Mother's day weekend we all traveled to Natchez to be together and find out the sex of Shannon & Sarah's baby. They did something very cute that another family friend had done. After the sonogram that showed what the baby was the technician wrote it down and put it in an envelope. Sarah contacted a baker in Natchez and mailed the envelope to them so that they could bake a cake that either had a pink or blue interior. Sarah had us all guess and gave us a blue or pink boa based on what we thought. Obviously she and Shannon couldn't decide. The first picture if of the three of them and the cake.
Here Shannon is slicing into it and there faces look so excited...
It's blue! They are having a baby boy! We are all so excited! Parker wanted a girl so that there would be 5 boys and 5 girls. I love that Poppa Jack says he will have 10 little indians!
We also celebrated our wondeful mother! Crissie and Lauren put together this adorable table while mom was at Mass.
This year dad surprised us all and gave mom and iPad2. She was so thrilled she couldn't even speak!
Of course when we are all together we try and get a picture of the grandchildren. I'm sure someone else got a better one than me but this wasn't too bad....if they were looking at me! Can you believe that we were able to find 9 matching outfits at the Kelly's Kids outlet!?
I tried to get one of my cute three but I think that they were tired of smiling.
More fun Natchez pictures. Old friends Braxton & Jack.
We fortunately only had ran during the night so the kids were able to spend a lot of time outdoors. Of course there was a lot of swimming for all. This is when Langley really started swimming. She was the first to get in and the very last to get out even though she was turning blue.
Bennett wasn't able to swim because his cast didn't come off until the next week but he still had a good time. Unfortunately all the playing around the water made his cast weak and I ended up wrapping it in duck tape --- very redneck but it worked like a charm (picture to come later on cast off day).
Of course there was a little gambling at the house and some went to the boat.
Just a cute picture of Charlie man!! He was always all smiles!
Also in May Bennett had his last Spring program at St. John's preschool. He will be attending Pillow Academy with Parket next year. But we aren't done with St. John's just yet. Langley will be there next year. I'm slowly getting the children all in one place. Two years and three drops no more!!
Of course we've been swimming! Langley didn't do much but hang out on the step the beginning of the month but by the end she was jumping off the diving board (more pictures to come)!
With all the other commotion going on in May we were able to throw in a gymnastics recital. Parker did great and the kids loved watching it all! We brought Parker flowers and she loved them!
Langley just being cute!
Langley and Bennett getting ready for the recital to begin.
Parker sunning herself. This picture just makes me laugh!
With all the activities going on Langley was one tired little girl.
May was a very busy month for us. On May 4th Parker graduated from Kindergarten and will be moving on to First grade next year. My semester just ended the week before so we began our Summer vacation very early this year.
That same weekend Greenwood had the River to the Rails festival and 'Que on the Yazoo! Below Bennett and Langley are enjoying lemonade slushes.
In the early evening the bands started playing and Parker and Langley danced the night away. I have a few videos to post.
The next week the carnival was in town and we had a fun family evening. As soon as we got there Parker saw all her friends and took off with them. This picture is the only time I really saw her and she was a little nervous on this ride. Later on she rode the centrifuge ride where the floor drops out and made Clif go on it with her! She said she lost her scared!! Too cute!
This year was the first time Langley went and she had a blast! She really loved the roller coaster but I couldn't get any cute pictures on it.

I haven't been very good about getting everyone updated in a timely manner so I vow to try harder at posting more often. Below are a bunch of random photos that I finally transferred from my phone to the computer so I could blog properly. They aren't in any particular order but date back to February. The first picture is just a cute picture of precious Langley in the park after we arrived back from our Spring Break in Centralia. She is showing off her new adorable haircut.
This is our first swim of the year and it was March 15th! I believe that is a record in the Barnes household.
Parker and her best friend Anna Grace getting ready to go to a "blooming" birthday party.
Our country club has this great playroom full of fun stuff that members have filled it with. Parker particularly likes the animals. First, I went in their to ask her what she wanted to eat and she had all the animals lined up on opposite sides of each other facing one another (sorry I don't have a picture). I asked her what she was doing and she said that they were getting ready to battle. I said "ok" and took her order. The next time I went in this is how I found the animals......in battle! That Parker is too funny!
Parker lost her 1st front tooth on April 26th
Towards the end of April I was to attend a business trip that Clif has every year with ProLink. The past couple of years the event fell during a difficult part of the semester and I wasn't able to tag along. This year's annual meeting was at the Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin, TX. We had a wonderful time and got to catch up with some of our friends that we meet in Fiji and Australia. Below I'm enjoying a little happy hour time!
The awards banquet was held at the Museum of Texas in downtown Austin and they thought of everything....such as the photo op with a longhorn. Yes, It is very silly but the children loved it!
While at the museum we had time to take a tour and I found some interesting memorabilia about the WASPs. This is the only picture I was able to get because you weren't supposed to take them....I read later.
This was the view from our hotel room.
Just a random picture of Parker teacher Langley some table manners.
