This past weekend some of us gathered in Natchez to run the Junior Auxiliary Run for Kids 10K race. We had great weather and fun times. I will have more pictures soon but Sarah sent this precious one of Langley and Josie. They had a great time playing together.

In January Parker's class went to the livestock show. He classmate Emma Lewis who is the cute girl sitting in the middle with the glasses had a pig that won 2nd place!

More four wheeler fun!

We had a wonderful New Year's Eve playing with our cousins! Shannon, Sarah, Josie, Crosby, Lauren, Crosby, Cannon and Charlie all came to ring in the New Year! We had a brief period of sunlight so the kids went outside to play. Bennett began riding his bike without training wheels just the day before so he was loving showing off his new skills. We tried to get a picture of everyone and I think this is one of the best.

Since Bennett moved up to the bike Langley took over the four wheeler and Josie borrowed our neighbors. They went up and down the street and it was so much fun! I will post more pictures.

Random pictures from the end of last year. Over the Christmas break Parker got very creative and began creating an underwater scene with her pipe cleaners. We decided to tape it all to the couch and it stayed there for awhile.

Most days of the week Parker comes home with multiple cuttings. She calls herself the "master cutter". I'm definitely not going to let her watch Edward Scissorhands! Some of the cuttings are pretty elaborate and very detailed and some are 3D. We have setup the dining room as our art studio and have been doing lots of cutting with construction paper including our Valentine's Day cards. I will post more pictures of her cuttings and some of her new paintings from art class.

We had a pretty low key Christmas this year. It was just us and the Barnes' came over for Christmas dinner. Below are just a couple of pictures. Langley enjoying her princess tent.

We got our Christmas decorating off to a late start but I did have a lot of help when we did get around to it. Parker shimmied up the tree to hand each decoration. It was quite impressive!

One weekend in early December we had lunch and a movie. It appears that Bennett and Langley really enjoyed it.

On Christmas Eve we put reindeer food out for Santa's reindeer. Parker insisted that they all were sunglasses and that it helped them see the reindeer. I didn't argue....why bother!

Ruby and Orla came over Christmas Eve and we decorated Christmas cookies for Santa.
I think Otis was getting a little giddy as it got closer to Christmas and he started to get a little mischievous. As you can see below he put toilet paper all over the den bathroom. Earlier in the week we woke up to find him in the Barbie Car!

We had all sorts of fun in December in our new family room. We change the layout of the furniture and it left all sorts of room for dancing!
