Cool 4th of July

This 4th of July visit to Centralia was drastically different than last year! First of all, we weren't being all secretive about a 40th anniversary party we were throwing for Mom and Dad. Second, the temperature was 30 degrees cooler! The children barely swam which is not like them. Below are just a few of the many pictures taken on our visit. All were in attendance except the Gulfport Parker's and they were missed!
Garden fairies
Dancing queens
I call this duo double trouble
I can only imagine what Parker was telling these girls :)
It appears that I only have pictures of the girls. Here they are getting ready to light their sparklers.
This was taken before we left for Centralia. Just too cute.
While we were visiting it rained so Crissie & I took the kids to a movie. It was Langley's first movie and it happened to be in 3D. She did great!
Boys playing games and Langley trying to help out.
More garden fun
Glad the Jackson Parker's brought their jumpie
And of course there was a pig and Ellis was not pleased to be next to it.
Bennett wasn't quite sure either
Ellis being Ellis
Ice cream with our favorite friend -- Lindsey Jo!
And we can't forget Coco's emergency appendectomy the day after the 4th. She was able to come home on the dame day! Taylor made her this wonderful welcome home sign.
Jackie getting to play with the big kids.
One of our many trips down to the creek to look for mudbugs
Taylor even joined in on one of the trips. I have no idea what this picture is about.
Coco feeling a little bit better with her granddaughters
Ellis wasn't sure about taking a picture with all of these girls
Sisters
Anyone up for a game of chicken?
All in all another wonderful visit except for the trip to the hospital

Omaha

Bennett was a travlin' man this summer! Before our trip to Jacksonville, he went to Houston with Poopaw and Yaya, Ruby & Langley. On the way they stopped off in Baton Rouge and took a look at Mike the Tiger. Clif wasn't too thrilled but Bennett assured him that he still didn't like LSU. Ha!
After getting back to Greenwood, Bennett hopped back in the truck to take a long rode trip to Omaha with his daddy and Poopaw to see the Bulldogs play in the College World Series. Below he is taking a well needed break! (disclaimer -- beer really wasn't his but it makes for a funny picture!)
Stopped for a photo opportunity on the Quad at Mizzou
Glad to finally be there. Go Dawgs!

 Souvenir time

Chowing down at a Diners, Drive-ins & Dives joint!
 Enjoying all the pre-game activities
After three long rode trips Bennett was glad to be home for the rest of the summer but he hasn't stopped talking about his trip to Omaha (wait till you see his birthday cake)!

Jackie's Baptism

In June, Poppa Jack, Coco and the children and I headed back East to Jacksonville. Jackie was being Baptized and Josie turned 3! It was a fabulous and action packed week.  These pictures are in no particular order (I just couldn't get it to work!). We arrived late in the evening and the very next morning Bennett was out fishing and immediately caught a fish. He was so proud of himself because we didn't catch anything while visiting at Spring Break.
Bennett is Jackie's #1 fan I think. I can't wait to get to see him again now that he is walking!!
Langley was enjoys being inside so she spent lots of time with Jackie too!
We left this dance costume at Spring Break and Parker was very excited to have it back. I don't think she wore much else while we were there. This costume is from 2011 and she can still wear it!
Fancy fisherwomen!
The birthday girl and mama who planned a great birthday party!
More Bennett and Jackie. He really only left his side to fish!
Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you!
Pinata time!

Little princesses
After church and Jackie's Baptism Bennett headed straight for the water and caught a fish before we were even all in the house!
Grandmothers and granddaughters enjoying the waves
Jackie before he decided to eat the sand.
Wasting a little time while waiting on dinner taking pictures to send to daddy.
More dinner time photos
Another photo for daddy
A little soccer practice with Aunt Sarah before we headed back to Mississippi
A wonderful time with family and friends
