Birthday beach trip

In late September, we planned a long birthday anniversary beach trip in Destin. We had some beautiful weather and just enough sand and sun to keep us happy. The moment we arrived we went straight down to the water while sweet daddy unloaded the truck. Thanks dad!
I love this picture below! They all just played so well together!
Making sand castles was a family affair.

We had a blast riding the wave all day

Dinner at a local favorite
I love this girl and pig tails!

Walking on the beach one night, Parker was feeling the love!
These two LOVED being buried in the sand. I have to admit, it was pretty fun!

We even went to an arcade where Langley fell in love with Skee ball.
This guy was a big winner. He hit the right button right before we decided to leave.
My cute guys!
Another photo from the moment we arrived. They were soooo excited!
We had a fancy dinner out to celebrate our anniversary and all of our birthdays that fall within 30 days.
The birthday beach trip was a success!!

September in review

Top news in September was the birth of Isabelle Marin Parker!! She was born on September 4th and is precious! I can't wait o get my hands on her over Spring Break!!
Parker and Bennett participated in our local 300 Oaks road race 1 mile fun run. This year there was a dress up contest.  Parker went as her favorite pet -- a cat and Bennett (who never dresses up) decided a cape was all that was needed!
Clif participated in the 5k and won 3rd place in his age group.
Parker turned 9!!! Can you believe she is NINE???

School pictures were memorable. The rainbow look necklaces were a product of countless hours of looming over the summer time. Parker and Bennett both said they weren't taking them off ever...And yes, I combed his hair but he loves to mess it back up. Bennett looks way to old in this picture!
Langley's pictures weren't taken as early but a friend of mine captured this cute one of her pickin' cotton. She had a blast! Parker chose to wear her sailor top for picture day. Go figure because she wears it maybe once each school year! You never know with this girl!
Also in September Langley turned FIVE!!! Times is flying when your baby turns 5!
Fall fun on the trampoline! Thanks Uncle Michael for the trampoline!
Parker was known as "Miss Know-it-all" all during 2nd grade and it has followed her to 3rd grade. She is kind of like a "Dear Abbey". A parent of one of Parker's classmates thought I would like to see her handiwork. The notes says "Dear Parker, My mom never brings me to the football games and I want to go, what do I do?" Parker's reply is says "I bet she thinks it's hot, let it get cooler, then ask her". Clever girl! This cracks me up because I can hear myself telling her the say thing!
More of Parker's handiwork....of course this was created at school. I wish her attention to detail was this amazing on her school work.
We made it to Homecomeing at PA and got to see our family friend as an attendant. The girls were thrilled!
More race pictures. Bennett with his pals Walker and his cousin Ruby to his right.
And yes, I ran too but since I'm the one taking all the pictures this is all that I have with me included.
Thanks for catching up with us!

end of summer & back to school

The last weekend in July was Cannon's birthday and we decided to crash the party!! Really the Gulfport Parker's had the birthday waterslide for the entire weekend so we all came to use it. Below Parker photobombed a picture I was trying to take of Taylor and Bennett relaxing.
Below the girls and Clif were enjoying a ride on the Mama Doll.
A classic Ellis face...what you can't see is that she is looking at her Uncle Crosby.
The boys....minus one.
Langley and daddy
Parker enjoying the boat cruise.
A few more baseball tournaments were left and as you can see below they won second!! Go Delta Heat!

And then it was back to school. Parker's first day of 3rd grade and Bennett's first day of  1st grade.
And Langley was ready to see them go!
So she could just ride :)
On August 16th the big guy turned 7! Where does the time go?
And he celebrated with a cookie cake at the ball field! And they won!
The following week Langley was headed to her 4 year old kindergarten class. She was thrilled!
Of course Bennett hit the streets the moment he got home from school everyday.
