Wow! What a busy Holiday Season! Sorry we haven't been adding to our blog much, it has been hectic. This past weekend we had our Barnes Family Christmas with YaYa and Big Ed! Cathy and Eddie arrived in Greenwood Friday afternoon. That evening we got all dressed up to go see Parker's Great Grandfather at Indywood where he stays while they were having their Christmas party. While we were there, Parker got to meet Old Saint Nick himself and even got her picture taken with him! She was the highlight of everyone's evening. After the Indywood party, we went to Yanni's for dinner with Clif's Aunt and Uncle, Charlie and Sara (Aunt Sunny) and his first cousin, Justin, his wife, Mary Lesa, and Parker's first 1st cousin, Ethan. Ethan is 6 weeks old and weighs the same as Parker!

Saturday we all went to Clif's other Aunt Puddin' and Uncle Bob's house for a Baby brunch held in honor of the new first cousins! We had a wonderful time. Later that afternoon, we opened presents with Big Ed and YaYa! Saturday evening, we all gathered at Aunt Sunny's for our annual Barnes Family Christmas. Family, food and fun! We all enjoyed ourselves!

Sunday, Clif, Parker and I traveled to Louisville, MS with Cathy and Eddie to visit Cathy's mother and introduce her to Parker. She was thrilled to meet her and see Clif and I again as we were to see her as well. She is living in a brand new assisted living home in Noxapater, MS. Clif, Parker and I headed back to Greenwood, to another wonderful evening at Aunt Sunny's house visiting with Justin, Mary Lesa and Ethan.

As you can see we had a busy weekend visiting with family! We had a wonderful time and look forward to visiting with the rest of our family soon!

I can see no one is as excited as we are about our blog....no comments yet! Well today we went to McCollum airfield where Cathy works and flies. I'm not sure if y'all know, but the Eddie & Cathy bought a Cessna 182 and are re-working it. It is up and flying and we are going to go this week if the weather permits. The plane is going for a paint job in a few weeks so I will post pictures then. For lunch, Beth (Brian's girlfriend) wanted to go to Hooters so Parker had her first visit. She was asleep the whole time so I don't think it will make much of an impact. We thought about buying her a "Hooter's Little Princess" t-shirt but took it back. Next we went to the mall. She was asleep most of the time but did look around in the beginning. Nothing much exciting happened. Tonight after dinner she and her Uncle Sludge (Brian) and Big Ed had fun playing and talking. I have video of it that I hope you can all see later. The pictures posted are a week or two old but were so cute I couldn't resist posting! First Day

Good afternoon everyone! I finally have taken a moment to create our blog. I am going to use it to update everyone on how Clif, Parker and I are doing. In reality it will all be about Parker. Pictures of Parker, video of Parker and down the road, audio of Parker. This way all of our family can enjoy her....near or far!

Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures prior to today downloaded on our new laptop. I do have some that we took while visiting some high school friends of Clif's from Peachtree City, GA. Sean and Kerry just had a baby boy on August 31 and his name is Jason. We got some really cute pictures of the two of them! They took to each other like peas in a pod!
