Sorry this post is so late! The children are keeping me very busy these days. Below is the party invitation for Bennett and Langely's Cars and Cuties party in August. I can't seem to get the it to rotate. A friend of mine is super talented and brought the boy and girl party theme to life! Wish you all could've been here. We had a great time as you can see from the many pictures below.

Langley is the first of my children to get upset when being sung Happy Birthday. Daddy liked being there to grabe her though!

Bennett was more than ready to blow out his candles.
Langley double fisting the dum dum suckers!

Kids going crazy for candy from the pinata!

Langley taking a swing at her crown pinata

Just as cute as she can be!

Bennett's pinata wasn't one that you swung at but pulled strings....not as much fun but it was filled with candy and that is all they cared about.

Everyone having a good time

The big boys

We had a pool full

Penny even joined the festivities.

Langley and her daddy!

Silly girl

Cathy did a great job with the cakes once again. Sarah, Crissie - I have this crown pan if you want to borrow it.

The weekend before Bennett and Langley's birthday party, Shannon, Sarah and Josie came down for a visit. Here are some pictures hanging out at the airport before they left to head back to Memphis. Below Langley is sharing her sunglasses with Josie.

I think Langley wanted to go home with Josephine.

It was a very warm day the the wind was blowing out at the airport.

Everyone took turn getting in the plane.

The weekend before school started we all (except) went to Atlanta with Clif on his business meeting. We stayed with some old high school friends of Clif's who have three boys. The oldest, Jason, is a month older than Parker and the twins, Isaac and Sam, are a month younger than Bennett. On Friday while Clif was at a day of meetings the children and I went to the Atlanta Aquarium and had a wonderful time. In the plaza outside of the aquarium that have all these dolphins that are dressed in many different ways. Bennett picked this superhero dolphin.

Parker and Bennett in front of the tropical fish.

In the penguin tube
In front of the huge whale shark tank.

Parker informing Bennett what everything is.
We cooked ribs on Saturday night and more high school friends came over with their three children who were also the same age. It was a blast the they all got along fabulously....really it was amazing!

The boys enjoying a popsicle.

Bennett took a picture of Parker and I at the aquarium.

Parker and stormy.

Jason, Parker, Sam or Isaac?, and Bennett

We had a wonderful time visiting with Sean and Kerry and can't wait to go back!!

More pictures from our Atlanta visit. Below Parker has all the kids playing like animals! Go figure!

Everyone watching a little Rio. Thanks Poopaw for picking it out! Having a little fun on the slip n slide before the storms roll in.

Cute Picture of Parker and Daddy.

Parker trying to catch the butterfly on the butterfly bush. Also, they had hummingbirds flying around everywhere. They would fight too! It was a amazing! Have you ever seen an Albino Alligator? Parker told her teacher that only the girls were albino and the teacher was very impressed. She should have asked Parker her source on that! Parker and Bennett and some kind of enormous grouper!

A couple of weeks ago the kids and I took one last long trip to Centralia to visit with Coco & Poppa Jack. We had a wonderful and relaxing trip as you will see. The weather was warm but it was perfect for being lazy in the pool! Below Langley and Parker are coloring and drawing which are two of their favorite things to do. I will have to scan so of Parker's art for all of y'all to see.

Parker being silly by the pool Langley took to the water like a little fish on this visit. As you can see she became daring and went down the slide. Being taking a rest in a sling float.

Langley coloring once again. She has learned what to do when a camera comes along. It is very cute but of course I'm biased!

Coco and Bennett taking a late afternoon golf cart ride around the yard.

Parker and Bennett feeding Langley. It was pretty funny!

Loving her ruffles!Trying to get a cute shot of all of them....it is more difficult than you think! Poppa Jack & Parker having fun in the pool Lindsey Jo & Langley having a ball! Poppa Jack put Bennett and his four wheeler to work moving limbs from the yard into the pasture. I got up one morning to run and this little deer was in the pool. As soon as I woke up dad to help I went down and he made his way out. Langely started to wear goggles on this trip too! Langley and Parker chasing bubbles. I have cute video of them dancing to ABBA too but I have to get it off of Coco's camera! I hope Langley grows up to have her sisters long and lean legs but it isn't looking so good right now! The way Bennett & Langley dug into this bag of goldfish you would think that I didn't feed them but obviously that isn't true! The whole gang watching a Western Hallmark movie. The Monday before we left we went to the St. Louis Science Center (except for Langley) and had a great time. Below Bennett is building his skyscraper with Coco. The children and I before we went into the "Sea Rex" Omnimax movie. Very fun but it made me a little dizzy having to look in all directions. A few more pictures to follow this post!
