Finally I've found some time to get the blog updated so below are some pictures from Taylor's 1st Birthday. We all had a wonderful time seeing family and friends. Crosby, Lauren and Crosby II were able to make it up from Gulfport too.
THE BIRTHDAY BOY!
Bennett can't wait for his first birthday. He loved the party.

Bennett, Parker and Taylor in his new wagon Bennett and Parker like riding in the wagon together Parker and Coco play with Taylor's new toysCoco and Crosby IIParker and her uncle Michael having fun blowing bubblesBennett...the party animal

Parker, Coco and I went to the Memphis Zoo last week while she was in town. Parker loves all kinds of animals and had never been so we thought it was about time. Pardon Parker's bangs as we try to grow them out.
Below, Parker and Coc are ready to get going and see all the animals.
At the Panda exhibit Parker saw the Budda and wanted to touch his belly.
We didn't get to see the bears as they were asleep (every animal was napping) but Parker got to pet one. I'm not sure if she new the difference or not.
Too funny not to post. Can you believe that I was holding her up?

Parker playing in puddles

Here is a video of Parker playing in the puddles.

I hope that everyone had a wonderful a wonderful Mother's Day. We had a wonderful time. We all went to the country club for brunch and then went home to swim and play in the backyard. Later that day Coca came in for a visit on her way back from the coast after visiting with Crosby, Lauren and Crosby II.
Bennett loves to play on the walk behind airplane but as you can see his feet don't quite touch the floor but he loves to ride on it anyway.
Sleeping beauty
Just a few random photos...at least they are recent.
Bennett is below with his cousin Mary Olivia who turned one the same week as Taylor. Her older brother is Ethan who is six weeks younger than Parker.
Bennett had a wonderful time at the party and is teething if you can't tell.
Parker is taking an increased interest in Bennett's daily activities. From eating to bathing, Parker wants to be involved. She is a fantastic big sister and wonderful little helper. Below she is feeding Bennett his lunch.
Most of it made it to his mouth (although it is hard to tell) and anything that hit the floor was goobled up by Penny!
Bennett loves to play in his and Parker's kitchen. Maybe he will be a chef! Really I just think that he likes to see how loud he can bang the pots and pans together.

Here are some new pictures like I promised!
Parker and her friend Anna walking down the street at Greenwood's River to the Rails festival. Parker was leading her to the petting zoo down the street.
Our friends Thomas and Amanda Gibson have moved from Greenwood to Dallas and we miss them very much. Below is a picture of their daughter Merritt playing with Parker before they left. Hopefully we will be able to get out to Dallas to visit them and some of our other friends we miss so much.
Parker got a tricycle and she loves to ride it up and down the street. It has a little bucket on the back and she loves to fill it up with things she finds along the way.
One rainy weekend there was a brief break in the rain so Parker and I went out to play in the puddles. She hit every one that she saw and ended up in a puddle up to her knees at the end of the street. Funny thing is that her rain boots keep water in not out.

Below is a cute picture of Parker and her cousin Ethan when they feel asleep after a long afternoon of running around and playing.

And after they woke up. Parker isn't so happy because she didn't take a nap earlier that day and Ethan did. Also she wakes up like her dad...not so pleasant to be around before coffee and ESPN.

Each day many of you check out our blog for new fun pictures and videos and I'm sorry I haven't given that to you lately. School will be out for the summer soon and PMI has found a replacement for me. I will still be doing special projects out there and training the new guy but for the most part I will have a nice quiet summer preparing for next semester and traveling around visiting family and friends with the children.
I promise that I will have new pictures from Greenwood's Rivers to the Rail festival, Taylor's birthday and of Bennett crawling! Keep coming back!

Parker's Artwork
Each week at Mrs. Lynne's Parker is working on her letters of the alphabet through artwork. I have it hanging on any spare wall space there is so I thought I would share it with my friends and family. As you can see, they get much better and more creative as you go through the alphabet. Each day the children color, glue, paint, cut their next piece to add to their alphabet collage. So each day we ask Parker what letter she is working on and what she added to her picture that day. She has started to answer with what she is working on. It is really fun to see her remember and know these things. For some reason for a short period of time I would ask her what she did that day and she always responded "I color on walls" and she never did do that. It was strange and funny but she hasn't said that in a while. Thankfully she wasn't coloring on anyone's walls....as far as I know!
Enjoy the art!

Just in case you don't remember last year's picture with the Easter Bunny.
Not much to report on . Below are Parker and Bennett's pictures with the Easter Bunny. If you recall Parker's pictrue from last year she did much better this year. In fact, she didn't want to leave the Easter Bunny's lap! What a difference a year makes.

I hope that everyone had an enjoyable Easter. We had a wonderful time in Natchez visiting family and friends. As you can see from the pictures below Parker and Bennett had a wondeful time too.

Bennett playing with Crosby II. Everytime you would move him away he would roll back over to him and play. Crosby II wasn't so sure what to think of him.

We went to Duncan Park and played on the slides and swings. Parker is acting shy in the picture but we all know that she is definitely not that.
Bennett loved the swing!
Bennett enjoyed watching Parker play.
Below is a picture ofParker hunting for Easter eggs. She would pick them up and shake them and if they didn't have anything in them she would put them back. When you ask her what the Easter Bunny brought her she says marshmallows and dum dum (suckers).
