I haven't been very good about getting everyone updated in a timely manner so I vow to try harder at posting more often. Below are a bunch of random photos that I finally transferred from my phone to the computer so I could blog properly. They aren't in any particular order but date back to February. The first picture is just a cute picture of precious Langley in the park after we arrived back from our Spring Break in Centralia. She is showing off her new adorable haircut.
This is our first swim of the year and it was March 15th! I believe that is a record in the Barnes household.
Parker and her best friend Anna Grace getting ready to go to a "blooming" birthday party.
Our country club has this great playroom full of fun stuff that members have filled it with. Parker particularly likes the animals. First, I went in their to ask her what she wanted to eat and she had all the animals lined up on opposite sides of each other facing one another (sorry I don't have a picture). I asked her what she was doing and she said that they were getting ready to battle. I said "ok" and took her order. The next time I went in this is how I found the animals......in battle! That Parker is too funny!
Parker lost her 1st front tooth on April 26th
Towards the end of April I was to attend a business trip that Clif has every year with ProLink. The past couple of years the event fell during a difficult part of the semester and I wasn't able to tag along. This year's annual meeting was at the Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin, TX. We had a wonderful time and got to catch up with some of our friends that we meet in Fiji and Australia. Below I'm enjoying a little happy hour time!
The awards banquet was held at the Museum of Texas in downtown Austin and they thought of everything....such as the photo op with a longhorn. Yes, It is very silly but the children loved it!
While at the museum we had time to take a tour and I found some interesting memorabilia about the WASPs. This is the only picture I was able to get because you weren't supposed to take them....I read later.
This was the view from our hotel room.
Just a random picture of Parker teacher Langley some table manners.
