After a long game of cat and mouse (Parker on her tricycle and me pushing Bennett) a pit stop was a must. Below are pictures of them having a juice box in their fort. Bennett loves this thing. He goes in and out, in and out over and over again.

We've been busy since Bennett's birthday. He got a fun water table that he and Parker love to play with and in. Then, Coco and Papa Jack came to visit this past weekend and celebrate his birthday. We all had a wonderful time!

I love the new pool fence. I can let Parker and Bennett run around in the backyard and not worry about them falling in the pool. Here is a picture of Bennett just hangin' around in the back yard! See the slide behind him....it is no longer there. Once we got the fence, he started crawling up it so we had to do away with it for awhile.

Last night we celebrate Bennett's birthday with family and friends. We had BBQ, cake and ice cream and lots of fun.

Aunt Sunny made the cakes! They were delicious and made with love!

What do I do now??? Mmm! This is fun and yummy!Aunt Crissie, Taylor and her mom Beth were able to come to Greenwood because they were visiting in nearby Yazoo City! Aunt Crissie was so sweet and gave Parker a fun gift to open.

Parker rocks out to the ABCs

While in Centralia, Parker got all dressed up with earrings and all and sung the ABCs once again in her very own special way.

We finally did it and it wasn't that hard!

We finally got a "safety pool fence" and we love it. Now, every afternoon we can go outside and the children can play in the backyard while Clif and I sit and enjoy each other's company on the patio. Parker is swimming like a pro but of course we worried about Bennett and any of our friend's children that came over. Now, we can all sit back and enjoy the backyard and the pool

Parker loves to dress us with her high heels and princess dresses that her Godmother Andrea gave here. Here is her dressed up like Mary and her little lamb.

Parker and Bennett cooked us dinner last weekend! Mmmm delicious!

I found some small floaties and thought that Bennett would love them...and he did! It took him awhile to get himself balanced (he swallowed a lot of water) but he started to like floating on his own.

Does anyone have any ideas on how we can get rid of the pacifier....again!

This picture makes me sad...it was taken last week. She looks too much like a big girl. She is getting big so fast! (see the pictures below). I think it is about time she gets a haircut. I was going to let it grow out but it seems that her bangs have gotten only long enought to cover her eyes and get in the way. Please post a comment saying "yes" or "no" to having her hair cut.

BENNETT IS WALKING

Bennett has been walking for about a week but this is the first video that I've gotten of it. Parker, Bennett and I were out playing in the rain the other day. They both had a blast!

It is so funny that he is in the rain covered in mud because I NEVER would have let Parker do this. It is really true that the second child gets to do a whole lot more than the first.

Enjoying summer!
Since we have gotten back from Centralia we've just been enoying our days -- for me that means work in the morning and reading all afternoon -- but when Parker and Bennett come home that means hanging by the pool and swimming! Parker has had two weeks of swim lessons and has made tremendouse progress. She is going back for swim lesson next week and the week after so I can only imagine what she will be doing after that.
