Two weekends ago Cathy and I took the children to McDonald's for lunch and to play on the playground. They love it and Bennett is getting the hang of it too!
Then we headed off to the Old Time Farmer's Market to get some pumpkins....but we got there too early and had to wait.

I tried to get a good picture but this is all we could get before she pushed him off the pumpkins!

Just some more cute pumpkin pictures!

Last weekend we got out of Greenwood and headed to Jackson to do a little shopping. We also made a stop Chuckie Cheese. Below is a picture of Parker on our way out of town. She couldn't wait to get to Chuckie Cheese!

Parker and Bennett had a great time playing together on all the fun moving toys.

Bennett hadn't been to Chuckie Cheese since he was an infant. He had a blast!

Bennett and Chuckie!Bennett loved this play thing that had a slide with steps on one side, this see through window and a slide on the other side.

Woohoo! Here I come mom!

We had a great time while mom was visiting. Bennett loves to ride in his cozy coupe.

Parker has a great friend in her neighbor, Ann Gerard. She has lots of princess dress up clothes!Parker loves to dig for worms in my flower beds. She lets Bennett help her sometimes. As you can see below she found a worm.

A few weeks ago we just couldn't catch a break.
First, Bennett was bending over picking something off the ground and Parker backed into him and he fell and hit his head. This is a picture showing his booboo while he is throwing a fit.

Here, he has just had enough Then a minute later he is all happy again...gotta love children!
Then, the next week he falls again but hits his nose and chin...poor little thing!
Next, Parker is moving at the speed of light (as usual) and turns and runs smack into the door mechanism of her bedroom door. You could see the indention of the door on her forehead. She recovered nicely and enjoyed some Diego....we didn't want her to go to sleep after that.
As you can see, it was a rough week but we are all doing better now.

Happy Birthday Parker!
For Parker's 3rd birthday we had a small party on Friday after her birthday. Her friend Anna from Mrs. Lynne's came over for the celebration.

Our Big Girl1

Parker loved her new fancy clothing. She got a princess tutu, red cowgirl boots, monogramed purse and jewelry! Parker and Anna enjoying pizza
Parker knew that in order to have a big girl birthday she had to give up the pacifier. We had been talking about it for quite some time and the day finally came! She was all for it and didn't get upset as you can tell from the video. Everyone has been wanting an update to see how she is doing and she is doing great. She will ask for it ever so often at bedtime but I remind she sent it to the angels. The first night she asked for it and then said that I let it go. I'm not where she gets most of what she says. In this picture, Clif gave her one last taste before it was gone forever. He wanted to make sure she understood. After the pacifier lift off, Parker got her butterfly wings and butterfly princess doll. It is a catepillar on one side and turns into a doll on the other side. It was supposed to symbolize her becoming a big girl and she liked the idea because she knows that catepillars become butterflys or so she tells me.
She loved her wings so much she wore them to Pizza Inn for dinner. She selected her birthday meal.
The next night her birthday present arrived. Clif and I got her a bicycle. We first just gave her the helmet and pads but no bike. We asked her why she need a helmet and she said so she could ride her bike. We reminded her that she didn't have a bike. Then she looked at us and said "You're going to get me one". It was too funny!
She did pretty good and fell a few times when she hit the curb but the helmet and pads kept her safe. Unfortunately, now Bennett wants to ride so we push him around in the little cozy coupe car.
It was a wonderful birthday week! We wish y'all were here with us to celebrate!

Ruby's here!
Aunt Beth, Uncle Brian and Cousin Ruby came to visit a couple of weeks ago and we had a wonderful time.
Parker was so excited to see baby Ruby who was 9 weeks old when she visited. She made the trip with minimal discomfort to her parents....much better than Bennett did.

Ruby loved all the attention that Parker and Bennett gave her.

Parker tenderly holding Ruby. She is so proud of herself.

Men....grilling.

Parker had fun taking a bath in the whirlpool tub. She especially likes making a bubble beard.

After a long game of cat and mouse (Parker on her tricycle and me pushing Bennett) a pit stop was a must. Below are pictures of them having a juice box in their fort. Bennett loves this thing. He goes in and out, in and out over and over again.

Thanks mom!

This is just a random picture illustrating the need for cabinet locks. Fortunately, these two cabinets I leave open so Bennett can play with the tupperware.

We've been busy since Bennett's birthday. He got a fun water table that he and Parker love to play with and in. Then, Coco and Papa Jack came to visit this past weekend and celebrate his birthday. We all had a wonderful time!
